Abstract
The analysis and the optimal parameters for the effective operation of hydro turbines at small hydroelectric power stations have been determined. The features of operation of asynchronous machines with combined windings have been investigated. The use of asynchronous machines with combined windings as generators has been proposed and the corresponding characteristics were determined.
