Dimensional parameters of broken flax packages as objects of transportation

Abstract

The task of research was to determine dimensional parameters of sheaves and rolls of broken flax as objects of transportation. Tightness of binding sheaves, their diameter, ovality, expansion and fan-like character as well as location of their binding are characterized. Quantitative relations between the stated sheaf parameters are determined. Linear mass of stalks, roll density and damage of stalks in them are considered. Statistical correlation between tractor trailer platform parameters and their carrying capacity is determined.
