ADC of cycle-repeat type on the base of analog-digital micro-controller

Abstract

The aim of the work is to define the parameters of the pulse-type ADC (ADC TT), which is built on the elements of analog-to-digital microcontroller. In this paper the maximum error of the ADC TT de-pends on the parameters of the input signal and the analog-to-digital and digital elements that are part of the microcontroller was calculated. Also, the formulas for the required parameters of the frequency con-verter in the time interval are got in this paper. The result of the comparison between calculated data and the parameters of the actual items included in the microcontroller shows that comparator based on the internal FCTI have errors of 10—11 bits, which determinate the operation threshold of the comparator.
