The directed search for vector quantization of linear spectral frequency

Abstract
The search methods in the codebooks are сonsidered. The «neighbour descent» search is improved due to preliminary majorization of vectors for each cell, that allowed to raise the method productivity. The software for realization of the offered method is developed and successfully tested.
