Abstract

The article investigates competition in the Ukrainian fat-and-oil industry. In particular the production function as a specific economic and statistical model, mapping the production output dependence on the production factors being used, as well as the economic essence of parameters of the production functions along with their interpretation is considered in the paper. The economic analysis technique based upon production function is given. The proposed procedure of economic researches is tested out by the economic background of the Ukrainian fat-and-oil industry.
