Hydroimpulse Parametric Single-Stage Pressure Pulse Generator with Adjustable “Closing” Pressure
Keywords
Abstract
The paper presents the results of the analysis of the basic and design diagrams of parametric pressure pulse generators for a hydraulic pulse drive, which showed that parametric single-stage direct-acting pressure pulse generators with different connection schemes to the executive links of the hydraulic pulse drive of vibrating and vibro-impact machines can control the cycles of these low- or medium-power machines or be used as servo drives (first stages) of two- and multi-stage pressure pulse generators. The expediency of expanding the technological capabilities of vibrating and vibro-impact machines by improving the technical characteristics of pressure pulse generators, in particular, expanding the possible control parameters and constructing a hydraulic pulse drive based on high-rigidity elastic elements, such as slotted, ring and disc springs, has been established. The results of the study revealed the feasibility of regulating the closing pressure of the pressure pulse generator, which significantly improved the technical characteristics of the hydraulic pulse drive of vibration and vibration-impact machines. Based on the analysis of known circuits, designs and the principles of operation of parametric pressure pulse generators of a hydraulic pulse drive according to various connection schemes to the executive links of vibration or vibration-impact machines at the “input”, “at the output” and “combined”, a structural diagram and design of a parametric single-stage direct-action pressure pulse generator with a “combined” connection scheme with adjustable “closing” pressure has been developed. The process of regulating the “closing” pressure of the developed pressure pulse generator design has been analyzed, in particular the range of adjustable “closing” pressure for a given range of “opening” pressure changes, and the dependence of the pressure pulse frequency on the internal transmission ratio of the pressure pulse generator's shut-off and regulating element areas has been established.
