Abstract

The production process of manufacturing polymer products in worm extrusion is researched to create the optimal control system. An integral criterion for optimality of the process that determines the power consumption per unit of raw material and finished products is suggested in the paper. The general criterion is divided into integrated criteria for each stage based on their features. The transition from integrated criteria to those that are formulated in the values of process variables that can be quickly measured is completed.
