Abstract

This study describes one of the possible instruments which can be used for preparing Intended Nationally Determined Contribution of Ukraine under future post-Kyoto agreement for land-use, land-use change and forestry sector. Global computer forest model G4M simulates land-use change and forestry sector adequately. However, applying the model for Ukraine requires certain improvement. In particular, detailing input data, improving algorithm of forest management modeling and designing scenarios which will be adapted to Ukrainian economic situation.
