Abstract

There was explored the regioselective S-methylation of bis(benzimidazole-2-N-phenylcarbathioamidato)copper(II) by dimethylsulfate. Within the trans-effect phenomenon the effect of eliminating of non-methylated thioamide ligand as part of the trans-coordination CuN2S2 unit was investigated.
