Abstract

There has been carried out a brief analysis of the drawbacks of the existing mathematical models of transformers of current in means of protection and electromagnetic transients in their groups. A computer model of these processes has been developed and represented in the software environment Matlab Simulink, in which current transformer model based on the theory of Jiles–Atherton ferromagnetic hysteresis and improved by authors through using of more flexible and accurate approximation approach of anhysteretic magnetization curve. There have been given the results of the developed calculation model of transient electromagnetic processes in the group of current transformers type TFNK-330 with connectivity of secondary stress in a "star". The calculation is made for the case of interfacial fault in transition line with a various combinations of values and signs of remanence in the magnetic cores of current transformers. The results are presented in the form of oscillograms and their currents of all phases.
