Analysis and classification of damages of universal open wagons that occur in times of their life cycle

Abstract

The paper presents the features and results of the analysis of damage to railway universal open wagons during their life cycle. The main types of damages and knots where they are concentrated are defined. The classification of damages occurring in the construction of the open wagons at all stages of their life cycle that allows forecasting damages in exploitation and systematizing probabilistic reasons of their origin.
