Abstract
The paper presents the results of the development of measuring device for determining the thickness of metal and polymer films based on the frequency converter with negative resistance. Basic principles of operation of the device, and its realization in the form of electric circuit are defined. The results of experimental determination of the transformation function and its approximation by a polynomial of third degree are presented.
