Abstract

The article describes the possible priority actions of electricity efficient usage for staircases and technical rooms lighting in apartment buildings. The advantages and disadvantages of the main energy-saving lighting products available on the market of electrical products in Ukraine are marked. For different types of combined systems «ighting devise-switch» the cost-benefit analysis in aggregated indexes is compared. It is shown that only the replacement of a simple switch on the optical-acoustic circuit breaker or switch with an infrared motion sensor (PIR sensor) will save on lighting worth about 290 UAH per year, in comparison with a conventional incandescent lamp of 40 W. The achieved economic effect allows recoup the cost of this type of combined «ighting devise-switch» system within 6—13 months, depending on the electricity tariff and the work duration in the dark.
