Abstract

The problems of energy efficiency of asynchronous electric drive with butt end ferromagnetic screens in rotor contour beyond working air-gap are being considered in the paper. The comparison of the energy performance of start-up and steady modes of operation for the production and the modified asynchronous motors has been made.
