Abstract

The analysis of the impact of changes impulse resistance of grounding on reliability of lightning transmission lines (TL) was performed. There have been performed some series of mathematical simulations for different classes of voltage, made on different types of towers and dangerous curves were constructed for parameters at different impulse resistance. It was calculated the probability of dangerous atmospheric overvoltage from the value of impulse resistance grounding support.
