EVALUATION OF ACTIVE POWER LOSSES IN GROUNDING WIRE OF OVERHEAD POWER LINES

Abstract
A method of evaluation of power losses in grounding wire of overhead power lines has been proposed. On the basis of single-circuit transmission lines of 330 kV voltage class there has been shown that the amount of the losses can be significant.
