Abstract

There has been investigated the process of the chemical extraction of carbon disulfide from benzene solution by the dithiocarboxylation of n-butyl alcohol in an alkaline environment. The composition and structure of the synthesized xanthates have been proved respectively by elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy of diffuse reflection .
