Abstract

The method of modeling and design for the control and synchronization systems based on Petri nets hardware is suggested in the article. Petri net is used as a model for describing control system. Process of modeling and design consists of three basic steps: modeling and analysis of Petri net properties, Petri net model transformation into the code AHDL Petri net hardware description and programming FPGA circuit, used as the control system. For these purposes a program for analysis and simulation of VPNP Petri net and a program for conversion the Petri net model into AHDL hardware Petri net description code have been developed. Software from Altera MAX + PLUS II is used for the FPGA circuits programming.
