Abstract

There has been proposed an information system for computer modeling of the elastic properties of amortization gaskets which allows to optimal selection of parameters and location of reinforcement fibers using a genetic algorithm. An object-oriented approach is used for the development of the control program. The program is created as an integrated computer system that has an interactive graphical user interface. The program interacts with the finite-element software for engineering calculations, and has its own module which pre-demonstrates the three-dimensional geometry based on OpenGL graphic library.
