Abstract

The sensor of gas concentration on the basis of the fiber optic systems based on the principle of optical absorption method is presented in the paper. The functional scheme model of the unit of such sensor for conducting of experimental research is presented and realized. Advantages of the given sensor of gas concentration on the basis of fiber optic systems by comparison to existent optical one are presented. This sensor can be used for measuring gases concentration, for example, such as methane and other explosive gases, toxic, aggressive and poisonous gases.
