Abstract

There have been received the quantitative results of the calculation of the total inertia of the power system synchronous generators and the rate of change of frequency with different shares of wind power for various options the balance of generated and consumed power changing. There have been considered the systems requirements of frequency control and the controllers types for emulation (imitation) inertia.
