Abstract

Article provides the variant of classification of cryptographic algorithms block algorithm RC-5 is considered, its basic drawbacks are determined and ways of their elimination in the modified algorithm are shown, requirements regarding cryptographic algorithms are analyzed and original criteria of definition of their quality are offered.
