Abstract

The paper considers the constriction and presents main characteristics of modernized forged expanders of CA135 type. Modernized expanders have elongated working rollers and additional movable support. These components increase metal utilization factor due to increase of the number of transitions and the possibility of rolling of losses with large cross-sections into intermediate pieces with smaller cross-section
