Investigation of dependency of artery stiffness from its geometry and pulse strength

The model of polynomial models of the mechanical impedance for various types of the blood vessels was carried out in the presented work. Non-linear regression models describing the radial artery stiffness dependency from its diameter, the length of the pulse signal reception area and contact pressure of recorder were elaborated. Functional relation between the stiffness, pulse strength and sensor pressing force and its features was analyzed.References
