Abstract

The classification of regions of Ukraine depending on prevailing in the economy of some sectors is conducted in the paper. It is analyzed as a structure of economy influences on the indexes of economic development of region. Basic obstacles that restrain further structural transformation of economy of regions of Ukraine are obtained and recommendations on the further removal of these obstacles are offered.
