Analyses and modeling of optical switches operation for high-productivity fiber-optical networks

Basic descriptions of the existent optical switches of different architectures taking into account influence of blocking are analyzed. The comparative analysis of technologies of creation of optical switches is conducted and optoelectronic switches for modern high-speed fiber-optical networks, their potential possibilities, limitations and features are investigated. The mathematical model of optical switch operation in different modes of load is presented. Structural realization of high-performance optoelectronic switch on SEED is offered.Downloads
