Abstract

The experimental investigation results of direct field-oriented control algorithm of induction motors invariant to rotor resistance variations are presented. The results are compared withresults for improved indirect field-oriented control algorithm which is robust to these variations. In contrast to existence robust algorithms it is experimentally shown that, invariant algorithm provides stabilization of dynamic performance and reduction of additional energy losses in induction motor under limited rotor resistance variations in all operation modes of electric drive, including low speed region.
