Linearization of conversion characteristic of analog to digital converter with high sensitivity

New method of integral nonlinearity conversion characteristic (CC) of analog to digital converters identification is suggested. The proposed method is based on software processing of conversion results of output voltages of multi-resistive voltage divider connected to the reference voltage source of ADC and operates in the condition of variable sequence of the resistors in the divider. The proposed method provides high precision of ADC’s CC integral nonlinearity identification in testing points – points generated by divider, and the uniform distribution of testing points over the range. The proposed method could be implemented for ADC calibration in data acquisition systems.References
