Abstract

The influence of geomagnetically induced currents on “АОДЦТН–333000/750/330 kV” power autotransformer is investigated in this paper. A new model for modeling GIC flowing is developed. The dependences of the effect of surface potential values on the harmonic structure of the no-load current and reactive power consumption of the autotransformer are established.
