Abstract

According to the numerical method of boundary elements, a study of the bearing capacity of tape single-row pile foundations with a number of piles in a tape from one pile to six was analyzed, the character of the friction forces splitting on the lateral surface of the tape pile foundations, the normal stresses under the lower end was analyzed for the purpose of making the optimal number of piles in the tape.

Pile foundations have been known for a long time and are widely used in construction. In modern high-rise buildings, they are widely used instead of the pre-existing band foundation.

This contributed to raising interest in their design and methods to predict their behavior under load. The advantage of pile foundations is small sedimentation, this is very important for high-rise buildings, which have a high rigidity and, accordingly, a great sensitivity to non-uniform settling. Despite the widespread use of pile foundations, numerous factors influencing bearing capacity and precipitation of piles under their operation in the composition of various pile foundations under various soil conditions have not yet been sufficiently studied. This is due to the dimensional complexity and laboriousness of conducting field investigations of pile foundations. The work proposes more precise prerequisites for describing the deformability of the pile foundations most used in high-rise building. The obtained data on the regularities of the growth of the total effort on the foundation with the increase in the number of piles and the change in the average load on the pile in the composition of the tape single row piling basement. In addition, tape pile foundations reduce the amount of material used and the cost of construction, which is very important for the investor. A comparison of numerical studies with experimental data on the magnitude of the bearing capacity of tape pile foundations has been carried out.
