Abstract

The paper determines the rank of the elements of the semigroup in the terms of a lattice of ideals. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the bijective transformation of the semigroup to keep a rank were determined. The corollary of the basic theorem demonstrates (uniform method) the simple proofs of known outcomes about the rank of a matrix
