Abstract
The paper provides the trial in research of the issue of the genesis in the notion of spirituality in the pedagogic of Ukraine of the Soviet period (1930–1980s). Attention is focused on the issues of problematic of the notion of spirituality and existence identification of phenomena of spirituality. There had been analyzed the opinions of prominent Ukrainian teachers of the period under research regarding the problem of spiritual development of personality.
